Harvest celebrations will take place over the weekend beginning the 25th of September. It all begins with a Harvest Gathering at 7pm on the 25th. You are all invited to a sit-down meal followed by entertainment provided by our own “Jukebox” Jenny and Joan Ward. The ticket price of £15 supports the charity Caring for Life.
The Harvest Thanksgiving Service at the usual time of 12noon on Sunday the 27th will feature worship led by our church choir with the Word preached by David.
In the evening at 7.30pm the weekend concludes with a special Service organised by our Vintage Enthusiasts Group. The praise will be led by the Ballyclare Male Choir and the guest preacher is Tam Saunderson. Tam is well known around the farming community as the speaker at the Farmers’ Mission in Ballymena Market and, of course, the Ballyclare Male Choir needs no introduction. The service will be led by David and will also feature an interview with Victor Chestnut. The offering will support the charity Life Beyond.
